About Plombier Connect

Our role

Plombier Connect is an independent plumbing-matching service for Montréal and its South Shore. We help a homeowner describe the problem, location, and preferred timeframe, then organize contact with an independent plumber who serves that area and type of work.

We are not the company performing the work. We do not employ a plumbing crew, own plumbing trucks, or hold a plumbing licence that we present as our own. The selected plumber confirms their own availability, callback timeframe, price, and willingness to take the job.

What we do

The service is designed to keep homeowners from repeating the same story to several companies:

1. You provide the municipality, problem, urgency, and preferred contact method.
2. Your phone number is verified before the search begins.
3. We send a non-identifying summary to one eligible plumber at a time.
4. If a plumber accepts, the search pauses and the necessary contact details are shared as part of that acceptance.
5. You can explicitly authorize another round if you want to contact another plumber. Previously accepted professionals retain the access they were given.

You can follow the request, stop the search, or cancel it. A match does not guarantee arrival, a price, or completion of the work.

How partners are reviewed

Before a partner is activated, we request verifiable legal identity, the applicable licence, insurance evidence, service areas, accepted and excluded work, and consent to dispatch communications. Evidence that can expire must be checked again.

These criteria describe a review process; they do not mean that every plumber listed in public sources is active in the service. See the partner standards for more detail.

Why focus on plumbing

The active geography is limited to the named Montréal areas shown on the map, plus Longueuil, Brossard, and Saint-Lambert, with a limited set of plumbing problems. This lets us document real coverage, exclusions, response times, and complaints instead of promising general availability that we cannot yet demonstrate.

A service that is still being developed

We revise the pages and journey using official sources, verifiable operating data, and feedback handled by the founder. Results, testimonials, response times, and response rates will only be published once they have been collected and verified for Plombier Connect.

The public request form verifies the homeowner’s phone number before routing begins. Only plumbers who are configured, eligible for the selected work and territory, and authorized to receive dispatch communications can be contacted.
